10:00 am Guided tours of the city of Saint-Flour in narrow medieval
streets, city walls and fortified gates, the gothic Saint-Pierre’s cathedral, the Renaissance period fronted Consular House, the Corn Exchange. Visits in French, English, Italian and Spanish.

12:30 pm Lunch in one of the restaurants of Garabit

2:30 pm Guided tours of The Garabit Viaduc, masterwork of Eiffel. This majestic iron structure constructed by Gustave Eiffel, has been connecting the two banks of the Truyère river for the last 120 years.

3:30 pm Over the centuries, the Truyère river, a tributary of the Lot, carved deep gorges. Its waters are now held by the dams of Grandval and Lanau.
A natural landscape of grandiose, surprising and contrasting beauty.
