An easy hike without difficulties. Typical architecture and houses in LA SAUVETAT and beautiful views to the volcano massif of the Cantal.
D – DEPART: LIEUTADES, village place. Left of the hotel take the direction of ESPAYRAC / LE LAUSSIER. After 250 m take a stony path which climbs between the pastures.
1 - At the crossroad with the road to LES VAYSSIERES HAUTE go straight on until LA SAUVETAT. There take the asphalt road into the village.
2 - At the end of the village panorama to the Cantal mountains. Go back into the village and turn at the main crossroad to your left into a path, which passes some houses.
At the next intersection, continue at left in the direction of LES VAYSSIERES HAUTES. At the road, continue already 200 m at right.
3 - In VAYSSIERES HAUTES leave the asphalt road and take a path to your right. It will lead you between ash and oak trees until ESPEYRAC. To see: a typical farmhouse with fountain, livestock drinking and bakehouse.
4 - Take the road back to LIEUTADES.
Mountainbike: Good sporting level. Climb between Depart and 1 on a very stony path. Sportive climb before 3.
