This route, with its fairly marked relief, leads to the edge of the Vezou and Truyère gorges.
Duration of the circuit: about 2 hours
Start in front of the Tourist Office of Pierrefort near the church. Follow the direction of Oradour on the right.
1 - At the housing estate, take the street on the left towards the
stadium.
2 - At the top of the housing estate, take the road on the right.
3 - Be careful when you reach a tarmac road. Follow it to the left, go up into the village of Faverolles and at the crossroads go straight on towards Sainte-Marie. 200 metres after this crossroads, at the level of the oven, take the path on the right which leads to the Colombier.
4 - At the Pouget crossroads, go straight ahead on the main road (old Roman road).
5 - At the crossroads, turn right and then straight on towards Fontanes.
6 - In Fontanes, turn left, the path goes down and then turns left towards Le Chantal.
7 - At Le Chantal, follow the tarmac road on the left to Le Théron and straight on down the large road to Rissergues.
8 - At Rissergues, take the road on the left.
9 - At the crossroads, go up to the right towards the village of Montusclat and on the right follow the path to the road.
10 - Be careful, you are on a road! Turn left.
11 - At the crossroads, turn right onto the path heading north as far as the D48.
12 - Be careful to cross the road, take the path straight ahead and 100 metres further on the 1st path on the left which meets the mountain bike routes n°1, 4 and 5 and which back to Pierrefort.
