This museum distinguishes itself alongside the likes of bagpipe museums in New York, Brussels, Paris, The Hague, Glasgow, Montluçon for example and offers an exceptional collection of instruments.

After collecting an audioguide at the entrance, visitors can stop and listen to commentaries at different points along the way throughout the visit.

The ground floor of the museum is devoted to bagpipes from Sweden to India. In the many display cases devoted to France, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, the southern Mediterranean and the Indo-Persian world, you can discover almost 150 different bagpipes. On the same floor, you will find educational and historical panels as well as the reconstruction of a 19th century bagpipe maker's workshop. There are also numerous screens where you can watch and listen to musicians from different parts of the bagpipe world.

On the first floor, one part of the museum relates the history of the hurdy-gurdy and the violin, another part retraces the history of the accordon and there is also access to a temporary exhibition.
