Thanks to the orientation table, you can admire the 3 regions and the 4 departments: Cantal and Haute-Loire (Auvergne), Lozère (Languedoc-Roussillon), Aveyron (Midi-Pyrénées). This site is home to an important bio-diversity including a bog with a rare plant called "lycopod".
The Puy de la Tuile is classified in Natural Sensitive Area and Natura 2000 Zone.

With the help of a discovery booklet (available for children at the tourist office in Chaudes Aigues), go in search of a new floristic species. Journey in the forest with 6 stages on the Puy de la Tuile trail. Good walk! 2h30 walk at the first parking lot in the village: 8km. 2h walk at the second parking lot higher: 6km.
